At Toyota we take great pride in the quality, and reliability of our vehicles. This confidence allows us to offer up to 10 years’ warranty* on every new and used car.
Every new and used Toyota, is eligible to be covered by up to 10 years’ manufacturer warranty through Toyota Relax. This is provided through an initial 3 years manufacturer warranty from the vehicle’s registration date that can be extended with regular servicing at a Toyota dealer. 12 months warranty is included with every Toyota Service, up to 100,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first, giving you a chance to relax in the knowledge that you and your vehicle are in safe hands. There are no complex formalities. The Relax warranty is automatically activated on the completion of a scheduled full or interim vehicle service at an official Toyota centre. By keeping to their vehicle’s service schedule, customers can extend their Relax warranty by an extra 12 months/10,000 miles, year after year, until the 10-year/100,000-mile limit is reached.
The Relax warranty operates in the same way as the manufacturer’s warranties provided on new and approved used Toyota vehicles. Cover is automatic when the vehicle undergoes a scheduled full or interim service and effective from that date for 12 months or 10,000 miles – whichever is soonest. On vehicles that have service intervals every two years, the cover is for 24 months/20,000 miles.
There are no forms to sign to obtain the warranty cover and the customer does not have to keep or present any policy documents should they need to make a claim. The warranty status of their vehicle is recorded in the details of their vehicle held by the Toyota network and is noted on the service invoice raised by the centre.
15 Year Toyota Hybrid Battery Cover
In addition to the manufacturer warranty, your Toyota Hybrid battery can benefit from up to 15 years of warranty in total. With every service at a Toyota dealer, the warranty is extended for a further 12 months, up to the 15th year of registration.
5 year Mirai Fuel Cell Warranty
Mirai warranty covers any defect that is attributable to a manufacturing or assembly fault under normal use for a period of 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, with no mileage limitation for the first year.
Toyota vehicles (excluding Hilux) are covered by a 12 year unlimited mileage warranty on the metal body panels, protecting against rust perforation caused by a manufacturing fault. This warranty stays with the vehicle and transfers to any new owner.

Toyota Relax warranty is a 1 year service-activated warranty available on vehicles after expiry of the original manufacturer’s warranty up to 10 years old / 100,000 miles when serviced at an official Toyota Centre.

We can introduce you to a selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. An introduction to a lender does not amount to independent financial advice and we act as their agent for this introduction. Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders. Lenders may pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
