Nissan reaffirmed their market leading position in the European
crossover segment with the unveiling of the all-new, third generation Qashqai. Surpassing
over three million sales from its introduction to the market in 2007, the
Qashqai has gone from strength to strength.
Elegant design, enhanced packaging and an efficient
powertrain are some of the guiding principles that Nissan have retained from
previous generations of the Qashqai with improved quality and an excellent
driving experience. The new Alliance CMF-C platform has displayed a showcase of
advanced engineering, innovation and advanced technology, the new Qashqai will
again raise the bar in the crossover segment and customers will relish in these
attributes.

Stylish design, eye catching attraction
The third generation Qashqai boasts a more muscular, modern and sharp design with enhanced body stance and prominent shoulder lines, an extended wheelbase and imposing 20-inch alloy wheels introduced to Qashqai for the first time. An increased wheelbase and over length increase too, the marginal height and width difference has made for an improved presence on the road.
The enlarged Nissan V-Motion grille sits proudly at the front end and is finished in chrome with an additional pinstripe to accentuate its precision. Flanked by slim, full LED advanced matrix headlamps with boomerang signature daylight running lights, the super tight gaps between all these details create a premium and precise look.
Sharper and slimmer design on the forward lighting of the new Qashqai coupled with athletic and dynamic side view with a horizontal ‘fast line’ striking the car to express a sense of dynamism.
Available in 11 body colours with five two-tone combinations, variety is really important to customers.
Relaxed interior
The new Qashqai’s all improved cabin with enhanced usability and distinctive design has set a new standard within the segment for premium feel. The relaxing interior augmented by white ambient lighting adds to this harmonious and premium impressions.
Stay continuously connected
An advanced infotainment system that includes seamless smartphone integration, in-car WiFi and a dedicated app which you can interact with and monitor your vehicle, you’ll always be connected. The 9” NissanConnect display screen offers navigation, entertainment and vehicle settings and is compatible with both Android Auto® and Apple CarPlay®.
The new HD fully electronic 12.3 inch TFT multi-information screen offers numerous layouts to display navigation, entertainment, traffic and vehicle information all conveniently controlled from a switch on the steering wheel.
Voice commands are also available through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa where the system supports a range of commands. As well as using navigation through your mobile device, 3D Maps and live Traffic which includes advanced navigation useful for drivers.
Compelling Comfort
A more commanding sense of environment is important for drivers and the new Qashqai gives just this. Improved visibility through a wider wind screen opening angle, thinner front pillar design and side mounted mirrors on the door has enhanced experience for users. As well as this, additional room due to increased exterior and interior dimensions has also been welcomed.
Electrified Powertrains
The new Nissan Qashqai will not only be available with a 1.3 DiG-T petrol equipped with mild hybrid technology but it will debut the e-POWER, Nissan’s innovative and award-winning powertrain.
The 2WD and 4WD variants, 6-speed manual or new Xtronic transmissions and pure-electric motor driving courtesy of e-POWER, the all-New Qashqai has a variety of options suitable for every customer.
The 1.3 DiG-T petrol 138 hp/156hp 12V Mild Hybrid delivers a powerful driving experience. The mild hybrid system is paired to the refined and reputable 1.3 DiG-T petrol engine that has been developed over the past number of years with over 50 newly designed components.
E-POWER
The e-POWER system brings a unique approach to electrification comprising a high output battery integrated with a category-leading variable compression ratio 154 bhp petrol engine, power generator, inverter and 140kW electric motor of similar size and power output as found in Nissan’s electric vehicles.
