Toyota have revealed a new chapter for the stunning Toyota RAV4 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It’s the first plug-in hybrid version of the Toyota RAV4, using more than 20 years of Toyota hybrid leadership to offer a vehicle that promises style, comfort, power and efficiency.
RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid’s position at the top of the RAV4 range is founded on its combination of high power and performance, exceptional efficiency, the dynamic excellence of its GA-K platform and the on and off-road handling capabilities provided by its standard AWD-i intelligent electric all-wheel drive system.
With experience in developing the Prius Plug-in Hybrid, Toyota have the knowledge and expertise when it comes to developing an impressive new powertrain for the RAV4.
The RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid will have greater driving rage in pure electric mode, with zero petrol consumption and exhaust emissions.
The new RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid will be introduced in late 2020, with on-sale dates to be determined according to country/market.
