We are pleased to receive funding of £1800 to help with the development and extension of the Mourne Stimulus Day Centre. This support will help make services more comfortable, calming and stimulating so that Mourne Stimulus can tailor attendees’ experiences based on their personal needs and requirements.
This funding will help develop a Therapy Room, Courtyard, Offices and WC which allows the Mourne Stimulus centre to provide much needed space and resources to enhance their service for existing and new members.

The Mourne Stimulus Day Centre offers a stimulating environment and includes a life skills programme where attendees can learn cooking and baking skills. Learn about different cultures, create art and encourage community involvement with virtual walks/runs and local business support.
The new space will also provide an opportunity to grow our workshops in relaxation including mediation and Yoga class. Promoting healthy lifestyle options within cooking workshops, gardening, recycling, walking and more. The centre provides a social space for attendees to meet each other. You can keep up to date with their amazing work on their Facebook.
