In Paris, France (30 April, 2024), Nissan unveils its latest version of the beloved electric family SUV, embracing the untamed with the debut of the N-Trek variant, tailored for bold families with a passion for outdoor exploration.
Nestled between the N-Connecta and Tekna models within the X-Trail lineup, the N-Trek boasts design enhancements that amplify its rugged allure. Featuring new protective lower bumpers at the front and rear with a sleek gunmetal finish and integrated LED foglamps, alongside striking 18-inch diamond-cut gloss black alloy wheels, gloss black wing mirrors, and dark roof rails and trim, the N-Trek exudes a stealthy and purposeful presence.
Inside, the adventure-ready ethos continues with new water-resistant, easy-to-clean upholstery, catering to N-Trek owners who often return from outdoor activities in various weather conditions. Whether indulging in trail running, mountain biking, or playful escapades with the little ones, customers can step into their N-Trek with peace of mind.
To complement the X-Trail's durable interior, the N-Trek comes equipped with rubber floor mats and a reversible boot-liner. Additionally, a wide array of accessories such as towbars, roof bars, bike racks, and cargo area organizers seamlessly integrate with the N-Trek.
Paint options for the X-Trail N-Trek include Gun Metallic or Champagne Silver in metallic finishes, while Pearl White, Diamond Black, and Ceramic Grey are available in pearlescent. For those seeking a distinctive look, Pearl White, Champagne Silver, and Ceramic Grey are offered in two-tone configurations with a matching black roof.
The introduction of the N-Trek variant enriches the appeal of Nissan's iconic family SUV, exclusively available with Nissan’s innovative e-POWER or e-4ORCE powertrains. These powertrains utilize a turbocharged three-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine with variable compression ratio technology to generate electricity and charge the car’s battery.
In the e-POWER two-wheel-drive variant, the battery powers a single motor linked to the front wheels, while the advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system features a motor at each axle, dynamically adjusting power distribution for optimal traction on diverse surfaces.
Delivering a seamless drive akin to a pure electric vehicle, coupled with the confidence to tackle challenging terrains, the X-Trail’s e-POWER and e-4ORCE powertrains eliminate the need for frequent recharging. With the purposeful and practical updates of the N-Trek, the X-Trail is tailored to adventurous families, encouraging them to venture further and embrace the outdoors, regardless of conditions.
