Another record in the books for the Nissan Qashqai e-POWER and this one comes with the title of "the longest journey completed by a non-plug-in extended-range electric vehicle SUV without external charging or refuelling." Wordy. But a record worth holding.
During an experiment which saw the Qashqai drive from Colombia’s capital of Bogota to the Caribbean coast, its hybrid e-POWER system was put to the ultimate test: Can you drive 1230 miles on a single 55-litre tank? After a 3-day trip and a whooping 101.5mpg, the answer was a crystal clear yes. The Qashqai covered 1,230 miles over a three-day period in Colombia, proving just how little fuel the Japanese manufacturer’s latest generation e-Power self-charging hybrid system sips away at.

A highly efficient petrol engine generates electricity when needed, eliminating the need for external charging while maintaining the convenience and flexibility of a conventional vehicle.
The latest generation of e‑POWER features Nissan's advanced 5-in-1 modular powertrain, integrating the electric motor, generator, inverter, reducer and increaser into a compact, highly efficient package. Combined with regenerative braking technology, the system continuously optimises energy use to maximise efficiency without compromising driving enjoyment.

But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
