C-HR Hybrid SUV Range welcomes GR Sport to the line-up

Now available in the UK with a revised range, the new 2021 Toyota C-HR hybrid SUV is now available in the UK featuring the new GR Sport model inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing’s world championship winning success in international rally endurance racing competition.

The GR Sport grade which is available in 1.8 and 2.0-litre self-charging hybrid electric powertrains has made a stylish impact with striking exterior details that include a black finish for the headlight and fog light housings, central bumper section and the background to the Toyota emblem.

A black spoiler adorns the rear complimented by under-bumper trim with GR badging black reflector. The front boasts a more prominent spoiler, black door mouldings, dark-tinted LED headlights and wheel arch surrounds finished with a dark chrome look for the grille.

The 19-inch GR Sport five-double-spoke alloy wheels sit proudly contrasting black and bright machined finish and 225/45 Continental Premium Contact tyres. With eight different colour variants available, a brand-new Ash Grey combined with a black roof, pillars and door mirror casings has been a popular favourite after it’s introduction and a bi-tone finish comes as standard.

The interior follows suit with a black theme in the cabin. A woven central stipe in the GR Sport colours is the focal point of the new fabric upholstery front sport seats. The GR branded doesn’t stop here with branded scuff plates and Perforated leather steering wheel trim with red stitching and a branded GR Sport stop/start button to give you that racing feel in your everyday driving.

Sharper handling, stiffened front and rear springs to increase damping force and retuned steering for better response are only some of the features that match the smart styling of the All-New C-HR model.

Toyota Safety Sense system has been a welcomed upgrade to the model with additional features such as Lane Trace Assist and extending the Pre-Collision Systems’ functionality to include cyclist detection daylight driving. The Excel grade also boasts a new dark chrome 18-inch alloy wheel design.

Starting from £31,395 for the 1.8-litre version and the £33,015 for the 2.0-litre, the new C-HR GR Sport models are now on sale.
