The used Maxus eDeliver 7 comes in two lengths — the shorter L1 version of the Maxus eDeliver 7 is 4,998mm long, he L2 is 366mm longer, at 5,364mm, which sets the eDeliver 7 top of the class for cargo space in its sector t 6.05m3 or 6.7m3, depending on length, it’ll take around 10% more freight in the back than its competitors. There's also a high roof L2, which has an even bigger cargo area, at 8.7m3. The L1 van with the smaller 77kWh battery can take up to 1,200kg of cargo while the L2 version, with its bigger battery comes in at 1.025kg.
All versions of the eDeliver 7 come with a single sliding panel door, and double rear doors, showing its intent as a work-ready van. The cargo area comes equipped with rubber floor lining, six tie-down hooks, and LED lighting for those working the early hours or in darker loading bays.
Fully charging the smaller L1 77kWh van from empty should take around 11 hours from a 7kW home wall box, while the larger 88kWh model will take 12 and a half hours. The eDeliver 7 has a maximum charging rate of 90kW — Maxus quotes an official time of 43 minutes to top it up from 20% to 80% when plugged into a rapid charger.
The L1 version of a used Maxus eDeliver 7 comes with a 77kWh battery that’s good for about 190-200 miles of range. The L2 version, with its 88kWh battery and 201bhp will take you that bit further at 200-230 miles and will go 0-62 in around 11 seconds.
The cabin isn’t as workmanlike as you might expect. Yes, there are hard-working materials and wipe-clean rubberised flooring to tackle the demands of delivery drivers and tradespeople, but there’s also quite a bit of technology as standard. Each variant of the eDeliver 7 includes a 12.3” infotainment touchscreen spread across the dash that connects to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There’s also a range of safety feature including automatic emergency braking, driver tiredness monitoring, blind spot warning, parking sensors surrounding the exterior and even a 360° camera system.
