FUNCTIONALITY
The DELIVER 7 is designed entirely for transport tasks. With a particularly large cargo space of 7.2 m³ and practical functions such as LED lighting in the cargo area, it will become the new favorite of all those who have big plans. The cargo space has dimensions that are also suitable for bulky goods: 2,913 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,428 mm high. With its turning circle diameter of 13.4 metres, it is handy enough to reach its destination without difficulty, even in urban environments.
With a maximum wheelbase of 3,366mm, DELIVER 7 provides excellent stability and control on the road. The 10-way adjustable driver’s seat ensures personalised comfort, while the generous 8.7 m³ of storage space offers ample room for all your cargo needs, making it both practical and versatile for any journey.
The Deliver 7 comes with a single sliding side door on the kerb side and barn doors at the rear, signalling the intent of this work-ready van. There are six tie-down points (eight for the LWB), as well as bright LED lighting for those who have to get the job done in the dark. SAFETY
With a comprehensive package of safety features, the DELIVER 7 offers peace of mind on the road. Systems such as Autonomous Emergency Braking Assist (AEBS) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) help to prevent accidents. The front and rear parking aid, combined with a reversing camera, makes maneuvering easy and safe. In addition, airbags and other driver assistance systems ensure maximum occupant protection.
Blind Spot Warning (BSD) detects vehicles approaching from behind, and Lane Assist (LKA) helps you stay in your lane. This makes driving safer, especially on the motorway.
The front and rear parking aid with reversing camera increases safety when parking and reversing. The system detects obstacles to the side, in front of and behind the vehicle. A reversing camera helps with manoeuvring – e.g. when approaching loading ramps.

The single sliding side door on the kerb side and barn doors at the rear of the DELIVER 7, signal the intent of this work-ready van. There’s an to add a second sliding door on the driver’s side, but it’s great you don’t have to think about adding extra money to avoid a tailgate, as other brands ask you to pay for barn doors. It is worth pointing out that there’s a smidge more cargo area height on offer in the back of the diesel compared with the EV version, as the latter has a higher floor height due to its battery packaging. As a result, there’s great cargo volume here. Plus there’s a bit more space available between the front seats, as it comes as a two-seater in diesel spec.
The cargo zone features a health and safety officer pleasing non-slip rubber floor, six tie-down points (eight for the LWB), as well as bright LED lighting for those who have to get the job done in the dark. It’s admirable that LDV offers barn doors as standard, and it’s great that they are designed to open from 90 to 180 degrees. The Deliver 7’s star factor is payload, in fact it’s clear of all the listed rivals above by a reasonable margin. The Deliver 7’s 2105kg kerb weight and 3400kg GVM mean drivers can carry up to 1290kg of cargo in the back. It is also capable of towing a 2000kg braked, or 750kg un-braked, trailer load.
The Deliver 7 model range is offered with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, with 123kW of power and 390Nm of torque. The fuel cycle efficiency for the LDV Deliver 7 is a respectable 7.7L/54 miles but with urban delivery routes expect around 10l/54 miles.
The diesel engine is a torquey and responsive thing, with a good amount of shove on offer from a standstill, and as speeds rise. It’s not lightning quick, but it gets along well enough. The steering is accurate and easy to get to terms with, but just be mindful of the turning circle. It’s 12.1m in the SWB and 13.4m in the LWB, so you might need to do a five-point turn where a three-pointer may have otherwise done the job. The ride is not too harsh or rough either, even without any load. Add a couple hundred kilos and things settle down notably.
There’s good reason the Deliver 7 has come upmarket; plenty of whizz-bang technology inside. A generous 12.3-inch central multimedia touchscreen, decent sound system, sizeable digital information screen, LED head and tail-lights, electronic park brake, keyless entry with proximity key and rain-sensing wipers should give the LDV a leg up in the showroom.
Health and safety officer-pleasing features such as a bright LED light in the load bay and rubber flooring, high definition reversing camera and parking sensors at both ends also come standard. The driver’s seat offers adjustment for height and base-tilt, plus there’s an armrest, too. Storage compartments include tiered sections in the front doors with bottle holders down low, but there are big cup/bottle holders at the edges of the dash-top, too. A number of open storage compartments, a decent glove box, and even an ashtray mean there are places to stow loose items.
