SVRgo, Shelbourne Motors' vehicle rental business, has opened a new base in Belfast's Titanic Quarter, bringing self-drive car, van and minibus hire to the city for individuals, businesses and organisations.
The new site at Old Channel Road gives easy access to Belfast city centre, the city's commercial districts, Belfast City Airport and the main road network, making it a natural fit for local companies, visitors to Northern Ireland, and anyone needing a temporary replacement vehicle.
The Belfast launch represents a £2.25 million investment, including £50,000 spent renovating the premises, and creates four new customer adviser and driver roles. It takes Shelbourne Motors' total investment in SVRgo since 2024 to more than £3 million, following an £800,000 upgrade and expansion of the fleet that year.
The expansion also builds on Shelbourne Motors' long-standing relationships with visitors to Northern Ireland including leisure and tourism as well as body repair businesses across Northern Ireland, strengthening SVRgo's replacement-vehicle service for customers whose own cars are off the road.

SVRgo operates from Belfast and Shelbourne Motors' multi-franchise sites in Portadown and Newry, with an additional vehicle collection point in Dublin.

Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
