Shelbourne Motors welcomed visitors from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) this week as part of a knowledge sharing activity on electric vehicles.
Personnel including local fire fighters form the Southern Area had the opportunity to explore the various electric vehicles on display as well as speak to trained electric vehicle technicians about the electric and battery technology.
Michael McCartan, General Manager at Shelbourne Motors, Newry said “It was my absolute pleasure to welcome the team from NIFRS Newry to our state-of-the-art premises. This was a fantastic opportunity for both the fire service and ourselves to share safety & practical knowledge on electric vehicles”
Shelbourne Motors displayed electric vehicles from Kia and Renault as well as commercial vehicles from Maxus.
