Below you can find a selection of the main roles we offer, along with a brief description on each. Sales

​Sales Manager: The purpose of the Sales Manager is to identify and develop opportunities to enhance the performance of the Sales department. They contribute to the planning and development of departmental budgets as well as monitoring department performance and customer service. The sales manager will also manage new and used stock as well as adhering to all regulations and policies.​

​Sales Executive: The purpose of the Sales Executive is to ensure the Sales Experience is delivered to every customer. Delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction is paramount to this role as is achieving new and used car sales to the agreed target set by the General Manager/Sales Manager. The Sales Executive will pursue to achieve incremental sale and profit opportunities through the sale of Finance, Warranty, Insurance and Dealer Accessory Sales.

​​Sales Support: The purpose of a Sales Support Executive is to create an exceptional customer experience in our showroom and help customers get excited about our products. The Sales Support Executive must be devoted to learning about our products so they can help our customers make the right choice when they buy a vehicle. Using the latest technology, some duties will include checking in vehicles, forecourt branding, assisting the sales teams, greeting customers and much more.

Sales Administrator: The purpose of the Sales Administrator is to provide administrative support to the group Sales Team. The Sales Administrator will ensure each customer order meets the specified requirements and that the administrative tasks associated with ordering, processing and delivering a vehicle are completed accurately and on time.

Service​

​Service Manager:The purpose of the Service Manager is to ensure the smooth and timely flow of work through the workshop, leading to customer satisfaction.  This will involve the management of a team of technicians to ensure the highest levels of productivity and customer standards are reached at all times.  The Service Manager will ensure warranty claims are submitted, processed and tracked in line with Dealer Warranty Policy thereby meeting or exceeding customers’ expectations in terms of warranty contributions.

Service Advisor: The Service Advisor is the focal point for customer contact, they will organise customer service/repair requirements and will strive for 100% customer satisfaction first time every time. The Service Advisor will assist the Service Manager in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the department.

​​​Vehicle Technician:The purpose of the Vehicle Technician is to carry out general maintenance repairs, servicing and maintenance inspections to a high standard.  Vehicle Technicians will strive to achieve high productivity through conscientious improvements on efficiency.

Apprentice Vehicle Technician: The purpose of the Apprentice Vehicle Technician is to work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge which will assist the apprentice to complete their qualification and progress in their future career. Under supervision the Apprentice Vehicle Technician will carry out general maintenance repairs, servicing and maintenance inspections to a high standard.

Parts​

​​​Parts Advisor:The purpose of the Parts Advisor is to plan and coordinate the part sales to meet customer requirements and maximise sales volumes and margins. The parts advisor will conduct activities to help achieve volume profit targets as well as accurate and timely ordering of parts for their department.

Trainee Parts Advisor:The purpose of the Trainee Parts Advisor is to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. In doing this they will strive to achieve agreed sales targets to meet the company’s profit objectives.

CRM

Customer Contact Centre Agent:The purpose of the Customer Contact Centre Agent is to deliver an excellent service to our customers that exceeds their expectation. The Customer Contact Centre Agent will strive to maximise service bookings for the company. The job holder will work in a telesales environment.

Customer Contact Centre Team Leader: The purpose of the Customer Contact Centre Agent is to deliver an excellent service to our customers that exceeds their expectation. The Customer Contact Centre Agent will strive to maximise service bookings for the company. The job holder will work in a telesales environment with no face-to-face customer interaction.

Customer Retention Executive: The purpose of the Customer Retention Executive will be responsible for consistently renewing, retaining and re-engaging customers while ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times. A key focus is appointment building & working closely with sales & marketing departments to achieve business objectives.

Receptionist: The purpose of the Receptionist role is to manage the telephone system, providing a relaxed and individual experience for all customers, diverting all customers to relevant extensions.

Marketing​

Marketing Executive: The purpose of the Marketing Executive is to assist with the execution of marketing plans for allocated manufacturers and departments within the Shelbourne Motors Group. Work as part of a team to deliver a professional and proactive marketing campaigns with a focus on generating sales leads with a strong return on investment.

Accounts

Accounts Team Leader: The purpose of the Accounts Team Leader is to ensure efficient operation of accounting procedures and financial transactions, whilst ensuring every opportunity is taken to continuously improve working methods and standards. The Accounts Team Leader will strive to achieve minimum level of overage debtors, manage the flow of monies through Dealership to achieve optimum cash flow and produce accurate timely management accounts enabling the management team to identify incremental profit opportunities

Accounts Assistant:The purpose of the Accounts Assistant is to ensure the smooth running of the finance function.  The job holder will be an essential part of a small team providing assistance to the Accounts Office Manager and Senior Accounts.

Rental​

​Rental Advisor: The purpose of the Rental Advisor is to provide support to the Rental Manager and team. The role will involve meeting/greeting Rental customers face to face and offering advice on appropriate services. The Rental Advisor will also answer customer telephone/online queries promptly and professionally. The role will involve handling visa transactions, arranging insurance cover and completing rental paperwork accurately for both customers and the internal accounts department.

​Rental Assistant:The purpose of the Rental Assistant is to meet and greet Rental & Body Repair Shop customers face to face offering advice on appropriate services. At times the role will also involve the delivery and collection of customers and/or vehicles in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. The Rental Assistant will provide administrative support to the Rental Manager and team.

Rental Vehicle Preparation and Delivery Operative: The purpose of the Rental Vehicle Preparation and Delivery Operative is to prepare vehicles to the highest standard prior to each hire. This includes both valeting and carrying out basic safety checks as well as delivering and collecting customers and or vehicles in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. The post holder will strive to promote the professionalism of the department and dealership encouraging repeat and referral work, thereby contributing to the achievement of departmental sales targets. The role involves planning travel arrangements efficiently in terms of fuel consumption and time taken to ensure consumable usage is economical.

Fleet​

Business Development executive:The purpose of the Business Development Executive is to ensure the sales experience is delivered to every customer. Delivering the highest level of customer service and building business relationships are paramount to this role; as is achieving fleet vehicle sales to the agreed target set by Management. The Business Development Executive will actively pursue to achieve incremental fleet sales opportunities through contract hire and leasing, manufacturer direct terms and maintenance contracts.

​Fleet Business Support Coordinator:The purpose of the Fleet Business Support Coordinator is to ensure customer orders are progressed and processed to meet the agreed delivery time. Progressing orders to assist in the achievement of sales and penetration targets and to support the activities of the Fleet team is paramount to this role.

Valet​

Vehicle Valeter:The purpose of the Vehicle Valeter is to ensure vehicles are in first class internal and external condition. The Vehicle Valeter will strive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
