Ensuring oil is at the correct level is important for maximum performance and reducing the risk of damage. Watch our Master technician Colin explain how to check your oil.
Firstly ensure your engine has cooled down before popping the bonnet. Locate the dipstick and oil cap, remove dipstick and identify minimum and maximum marking. Clean with a rag and then reinsert. Remove dipstick and ensure that oil level sits between the minimum and maximum marking. To top up, unscrew cap and fill as required ensuring you have the correct oil for your vehicle. Screw oil cap back on and close bonnet.
