It was a night filled with raucous laughter, flowing drinks, and to-die-for food, in a room with over 600 industry professionals competing for 21 prestigious awards. We were proud to be among such excellent talent, and peers. But what stood out for us most were the two tables of people tucked just to the right of the stage. Tables filled with team members from across our business. They, along with every other member from our two sites, helped spur us on to several awards on the night. All of which are testament to their dedication and passion for our industry, our customers, and our business.
It was with great privilege that we were recognised as Dealer Group of the Year, an immense accolade given the level of professionals in the room with us. On top of that, we celebrated individual success with David Armstrong (Aftersales Manager of the Year), Michael McCartan (Dealer Principal of the Year), Gareth Atkinson (Automotive Technician of the Year), Marc Bunting (Highly Commended Dealer Principal of the Year), Jake Nelson (Highly Commended Apprentice of the Year), and our Aftersales Team for getting Highly Commended too.

We were also thrilled for every other winner and finalist on the night. To reflect what Sasha Jeffrey, Director of PR & Events at ASG, said: “These awards are a testament to the achievements and progress within Northern Ireland’s automotive sector, and we’re proud to celebrate those who continually raise the bar for excellence.” We couldn’t agree more.
We’d like to extend a special mention to Terence Donnelly for his massively well-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award, and to the panel of judges for their hard work in what we’re sure was a difficult task in deciding the winners. Furthermore, to all the sponsors who made the event possible, thank you all.

If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase. Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
