Master technician status for Shelbourne Motor’s Gareth Atkinson

Gareth Atkinson, employee at Shelbourne Motors has recently achieved the Renault Master Technician status, the highest recognised technical level in the motor vehicle industry.

Starting as an apprentice with Shelbourne Motors in 2011, Gareth has worked hard to develop his skills and expertise through the Renault Training Centre. Now as a recognised Renault Master Technician, Gareth is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and replacing parts for Renault customers at the Shelbourne Motors Renault workshop. Gareth also uses his experience and knowledge to support and mentor the current apprentices at Shelbourne Motors.

Shelbourne Motors Renault service manager Simon Wilson said: “Achieving the Renault Master Technician status which is highest level technician standing is an outstanding achievement and a true testimony to Gareth’s continued hard work and commitment to his work since he started with us in 2011. The expertise of our service technicians is always assessed to maintain the high quality of our customer care. All technicians at Shelbourne Motors are encouraged to advance their skills through training and work towards attaining manufacturer accreditations.”
