The All-New Clio has triumphed in the latest UK Car of the Year Awards 2020, winning the ‘Best Supermini’ title.
The UK Car of the Year Awards judges were quick to praise the attributes of All-New Clio. Alex Grant, UK Car of the Year judge, said: “The fifth-generation of Renault's best-seller has matured into a product capable of rivalling premium-brand models. All of the Clio's signature agility is retained, now paired with the best cabin in this segment, advanced connectivity options and a sophisticated hybrid system claimed to offer 80% fully-electric driving in town.”
Judge Nargess Banks, commented: “It’s one thing to make great premium cars for those who can afford them, but there is much more genius in distilling good engineering and thoughtful design to a car for the masses. The new Clio delivers enough style without trying too hard.”

One of the many highlights of the interior is the availability of the new, larger 9.3-inch EASY LINK infotainment screen and a 10-inch TFT instrument cluster – features normally reserved for larger and more expensive cars. From the outset the designers wanted to give the All-New Clio a true premium feel, with soft touch plastics, satin finish metal trim and new, more enveloping seats all helping push the car upmarket. With careful attention paid to ergonomics, the All-New Clio is the most comfortable and refined version yet.

UK Car of the Year honours are decided by a panel of 29 British motoring journalists, including contributors to national newspapers, consumer and industry magazines, websites and TV.
