renault scenic

Renault have announced that they will be giving their Scenic range a bit of a tune up next year. Both the Renault Scenic and the Renault Grand Scenic will feature new front ends with a more contemporary feel to them, offering black and chrome detail. The look of the rear end will also change featuring new lights that fit in with the redesign of the front end. All lights will now be LED daytime running as a standard feature.

As well as changes to the exterior of the car, there will also be two new engines available for the Scenic range; which feature a Stop & Start system designed to improve on the performance of the car as well as it’s running costs.

The new Scenic re-releases will feature state of the art technology which will help the drivers awareness and night-time vision, this new technology is called the Visio system, and it features a lane departure warning system which alerts the driver via an in car sound if they stray from one lane. The Visio system also includes automatic headlight technology, which uses a camera to detect the presence of nearby vehicles and other lights on the road and will switch the lights on your Scenic from main beam to dipped or vice versa.

Shelbourne Motors, Renault Dealers Northern Ireland are anticipating the release of the new Renault Scenic Range to be around March 2012.
