Following on from our recent report that Renault will be giving the Scenic a face lift, it has now been announced that they will also be refreshing the look of the popular Renault Megane for 2012.The new Megane will feature a new look gloss black bumper detailing chrome highlights and the front headlights will now use daytime LED technology.  There will now be a further two colours to chose from when it comes to the colour of the car, with Azzuro Blue and Arctic white now being added to the range.

The re-design also includes changes to the interior of the car, with the manufacturer adding new stylised trim to the seats as well as a new sports steering wheel and dashboard strip. There will also be an update on the cars technology, with it now featuring the hill start assist and visio-system which were recently added to the Scenic update.

There will also be some changes under the bonnet, with the new Renault Megane being the first Renault car to have the option of their new stop and start engines which are designed to  improve both motoring enjoyment as well as fuel efficiency.
