Charging the ZOE is simple and flexible due to new chameleon charger technology. This means it can take charge from multiple types of charge points. The first charging method is through your home wall box, provided by British Gas and is installed before your car is delivered. This is a 7 KW charger that can fully charge the ZOE in 3-4 hours. We recommend this is where you should do the majority of your charging so that topping up the car can be effortlessly integrated into your daily routine.
The second way to charge is by using a public charging post, of which there are already over 3,000 nationwide . These chargers range from 3KW - 22KW and can charge your car from 8 - 1 hours respectively. This type is ideal for round trips, such as going to and from one destination.
The final way to charge your ZOE is through rapid charging. These appliances (43KW capacity) are placed systematically at key locations such as motorway service stations for long journeys and have the ability to charge the battery to 80% in just half an hour. With over 100 rapid chargers installed nationwide already, this growing network will allow you to put in some serious mileage with your ZOE.
